Founded by Mia and Jason Bauer in 2003, Crumbs Bakeshop quickly became a success story with its original NYC location in the Upper West Side, close to Columbia University. Born out of the couple’s combined love of baking and entrepreneurial drive, their business quickly grew in popularity and they opened multiple locations around Manhattan. This success allowed them to expand their product offerings bringing in their online shop and presence in major supermarkets. Popular for their huge selection of over-the-top cupcakes and yummy cookies, Crumbs became the place for consumer indulgence.Starting in 2003, Mia and Jason began selling gourmet cupcakes and cookies online, and as their popularity grew, Crumbs opened their first store in 2006 on the Upper West side of Manhattan, followed by a second store in Manhattan. With their online shop they began shipping nationwide and established their footing in major supermarkets in the NY Metro area, bringing their treats to the Long Island area.
